1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture

At Hoocup (operated by HOOC AI TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD), our core premise is that personal artificial emotional intelligence requires absolute privacy. We implement client-side encryption and isolated cryptographic enclaves for all personal memories, conversation transcripts, and emotional profiles.

Your encryption keys are derived and stored exclusively on your device. We do not possess the cryptographic keys or computational ability to inspect, decrypt, or sell your private memories.

2. Information We Process

Account Credentials

Basic email address and cryptographic authorization tokens required solely to authenticate your account and synchronize encrypted backups across your authorized devices.

Conversations & Memory Synthesis

The messages, audio streams, and emotional context you share. These are converted into encrypted vector embeddings dedicated solely to your personal instance. They are never aggregated into public datasets.

Operational Telemetry

De-identified metrics (app version, crash logs, connection latency) collected solely to diagnose system failures and maintain service uptime.

3. AI Model Training Safeguards

  • Zero Public Training: We do NOT train foundation AI models or public generative systems on your personal conversations or diary entries.
  • No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal information or psychological profile to advertisers or third-party brokers.
  • Isolated Enclaves: Daily cron memory consolidation and reflection processing execute inside isolated secure hardware enclaves with temporary in-memory lifecycles.

4. Data Control & Deletion Rights

You maintain uncompromised sovereignty over your data under global regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act):

  • Export Data: Access and export your full conversational and synthesized memory logs anytime via in-app settings in JSON format.
  • Selective Memory Erasure: Purge specific conversations, dates, or topic clusters with instant cryptographic zeroing.
  • Account & Data Termination: Delete your account permanently at any moment. All cryptographic keys are permanently destroyed.
